TG stations last week, the USS
Hawes,
FFG 53 has been visiting Savannah during the
Octoberfest weekend. After working the weekend, I took advantage of the holiday today to visit River Street and get a look at the ship (which
unfornately is all you can do now, they no longer offer public tours when ships visit Savannah). As always, I had the BC396 with me and did a bit of searching while I was there.
As luck would have it, I came across the 400 MHz shipboard trunked repeater system on the USS
Hawes. I doubt that I discovered all of the frequencies for the system because it wasn't very active, but here are the results of my search:
