I did not know Mr. Ed Bigbie as well as many others in the Savannah Amateur Radio Community did, but in the short time I knew him I came to greatly respect him. Ed meant a lot to us as friend and mentor. His knowledge about radio and electronics seemed to be endless, you knew when you got advice from him that it was the best you could get. Ed was good Christian man; he was a man we could all look up to and an example for all of us to follow.
